Student Movement 1960:
                The early 1960s so the united states in a period of transition and change. John Kenneth gail breith,walter heller preached the new economic to the affluent society making American confidences about the perfect American society.During this time the nations newly elected leader jihn f.kennedy was young,rational,stylish yet cautions kennedy apitomized an American ideology which began to emerged in the mid 50s, reached a climex in 1960 and continued until about 1965 it was a liberal ideology and it is was built on six basis a American capitalism has a potential for solving social problems 2).The key to this potential is growth thus eletimeting the conflict over resources.3) social problem can be solved with abended.4).American society is getting more eual class is being elemeted workers are become the members of middle class.5)The most urgent thret to this system comes from communism which must be contain seems democratic capitalism works hear ot is the duty of a us to bring it is the rest of world.

              The youth of the 1960s formed a “counter culture’ which rejected many of the fundamental valus of American societies.One of the characteristic with which almost every collage student of 1960 was affected was by the youth culture by some way.The next characteristic of counter culture can be seen in the changes which occurred in its music this movement the ills of American society.
            It was over the issue of race that sudent protest began in 1960.The student movement of the 60s also protestet against the vietname war the counter culture of the 1960s refers to acultural movement that mainly develop in the united state and spred throughout much of the western world between 1960 and 1973 and the movement gained momentam during the U.S. governments extensive military entervention in vietname as the 1960s progressed their were wide spred tention develop in American relations,sexual mores.women rights,traditional modes of authority ,experiementation with psycho active drugs and deffering interpretation of American dream.
             New cultural formed emerged including the pop-music of the British band-“The beatles” an concurrent rise of hippie culture which led to the rapide revolution of a youth sub-culture that emphasized change and experimentation.
          The role of women as full time home makers in industrial society was challenged in 1963,when American feminist betty Friedan published the feminine mystique, giving moment  to the women’s movement and influencing what many called 2nd wave feminism. other activist, such as Gloria Steinem and angela devis,eighter organized influenced or educated many of a younger generation of women to ands an expend feminist thought.
       It was the martin Luther king jr.an his dream to make the president of America john k.Canady to pass the civil right act 1964 and the voting rights act in 1965 between 1963 and 1965 the civil right movement came to mean something different for the northern black who’s problems were social and economic (rather than legal, as in the south).The final blow to the civil rights movement came in April 1968 with the assassination of martin Luther king junior. After 1965 the emphasis of the civil rights movements shifted again to the theme of self respect and pride in black cultural heritage the black panther party came into existence in 1965 and was led by huey newton and bobby seale which signaled the end of unity and of the civil rights movement.

The Mystic Drum:                     The Mystic Drum is Okara’s love lyric. The Mystic Drum evinces a tripartite ritual pattern of imitation from innocence through intimacy to experience.
